how long does the ear shattering screaming last???

I don't mean the "I'm upset varierty" but the "I'm 6.5mo and have found my voice. I'm going to make a really loud noise" whilst grinning happily variety. It's really ear piercing and is starting to upset DS now, but you can't really reason with a 6mo to just sush a little please! anybody been through this? [please tell me it's going to finish tomorrow].

My 6YO still does it.

My girls (four and three) both still do this - usually when I'm on the phone to my mum! I think she's glad we live so far away.

Don't worry, after a few months it wont bother you any more and you'll wonder why people are giving you dirty looks in Tesco when it starts up ...

Yep, my 18mo still does it. I glare at her in a kind of It's Not Big And It's Not Clever kind of way, but then she smirks and giggles which makes me smile, so that's another battle lost
