I have 4 dc, age 7 and under. Its difficult to give them all attention when they need it, and they always ask me to play with them, yet i never find the time to sit down and do it. How do you spend that quality time with your dc and what do you do/play? Also, how do you find the time??

I kinda think it does matter rochel not the arts and crafts or anything really adventurous like, but spending time playin/watchin their programs/ readin/cookin wat ever it might b, i think that special time is very important for them... Hence my guilt when i dont manage it well enough...

of course you're right, the quality time = love, for a child.
I meant all the extra stuff like the arts and crafts and stuff.

We watch things together and cook, read etc, it's the unstructured stuff that drives me scatty. I like the idea of doing arty crafty stuff but the reality always pans out differently! I think they're still a bit too young and it's really hard trying to find things that a 1 and 3 year old can actually do together without killing each other.

I was thinking about it and as I remember I was a bit rubbish at being a kid myself, I just wanted to read or play by myself. But then my parents never really played with me, so there you go.
