Ds has the fire engine (not the station just the big engine) and the police station with the van. He loves them both and they get played with a lot. Apparently dd is getting the zoo for Christmas or birthday from the same uncle who got the others for ds.

Oh just remembered, ds has the digger with the builders too The digger is good value, you can take the top off and build on to the base to make a tank

They like all the ones we have, particularly (I can't remember what it is called) the one with polar bears and a 'tunnel' slide for the penguins and a fish with which to feed the animals

oh yeah that one does look good.

oh i need to get it all

dd3 got the supermarket set for Christmas last year, she loves it she was almost 4 then

belgo · 26/10/2009 13:40

I've never bought a big set of duplo, I just buy smaller sets and boxes of bricks second hand, that makes it far more interesting and the children can use their imagination. The link MrsJammi has posted looks interesting, we have many of those pieces - the winnie the Pooh set, zoo animals, slides, trains.

Duplo new is far too expensive.

carriedababi · 26/10/2009 13:43

thanks for the link, i will keep an eye on that one.

supermarket, ive not seen that one before.

i have no objection to secondhand at all, i buy as much 2nd hand as i caan for dd as poss
