Fleecy Sleepsuits - what to wear underneath?

Hi

Does anyone know if the fleecy sleepsuits you can buy are temperature rated like grobag sleeping bags are? My son is 8 months and too much of a wriggler for a grobag as he gets himself in knots so am giving the fleecy sleepsuit a try. But have no idea what to put him in underneath. Bedroom varies from 17 - 19 degrees.

Thanks

Nikki

I think you may be getting tad too worried about this!

Get him in his bedclothes, then after twenty minutes, feel his neck. If it's sweaty, he's too hot.

interested to hear about the fleecy sleepsuits - where did you buy them? My little baba also does not like the grobag.
Cheers

Sainsburys sell them, I think for about £8. They have that rubbery stuff on the soles of the feet so they're not slippery.

my DD has some 4 quid each in matalan. i put a bodysuit underneath. We stayed in a caravan without heating recently and her room dropped to 10 degrees!!! She was happy as larry with the fleecysuit and a normal sleepsuit under that!

Just bought dd (age 3!) a fleecy sleepsuit from Boots. Has normal cotton pyjamas underneath, so it doesn't matter if the quilt falls off.

ooooh, good idea. DS keeps popping the shoulders open on his grobag becuase he trys to stand up and pulls on the bottom!

My DS (age 3) has worn them every winter but always naked underneath apart from a nappy/pull up. He got too warm during the night and would wake crying. In the bleak midwinter we put a vest underneath as well.
