My 7yr old has 1/2 hr per day which he "earns" by doing his violin practice and getting ready for school.

7 & 8 yr old 20 min/day, chores first. Longer allowed if there is a need to research something for school.

My 7 year old is allowed half an hour a night, as long as he has finished all his homework and his bedroom is tidy.

He doesn't always use it though and some of his games are really good educational ones. Caught myself laughing in the kitchen while he was on the computer last week - he thought he was just playing a computer game, while I knew he was actually learning his times tables!

My nine yr old doesnt play everyday but my five yr old son would if he could. Again i just make sure that the sites they use are age suitable. For example my five yr old loves nick junior and my daughter britchicks a virtual world game where she interacts with characters. I think its really important that they are confident with technology as it is so important in our society now.

Mine are older than that now, but it's unlimited here.
