How old does your child have to be to use a door bouncer or has it got tons more to do with their ability to control their heads and shoulders, if so how much control do they need????????

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

iirc it's 6 months and able to hold their head up.

dd went in ours at 3mths when she had good head control, able to sit frontwards in a frontpack confortably.

DD is 5 months and has been in the bouncer for very short periods (5 mins or so) over the last month - i.e. since she was about 4m.
She does have v. good head control and seems strong (she's just started sitting up unsupported) but I still wouldn't leave her in it for long - she loves it though!

I think DS2 started at around 3 months, but as others say, never for very long. 10-15 minutes per day max to start with.
