A live web discussion is about to start at 1pm on Alpha mummy - people might find interesting:

Other people's children: should we get involved?

How responsible are we for other people's children?

Good manners are on the wane and the news is full of stories of feral children. But what is our responsibility to children other than our own? What do you do if you see a teen dropping rubbish or playing loud music on the bus? If a school-age child is running riot at the playground, do you tell them to mind their manners? If an adult smacks a child in public, do you intervene? Just what is our role in the lives of children in general?
