The real nappy campaign...

Ok so I just e-mailed my local council about what incentives they had to use real nappies (which I'm using anyway, but £20-30 off would really help getting started), turns out they aren't running it this year and may not be doing it next year (they've not decided yet). So I'm wondering if there's any way of 'encouraging' bedford borough council to cough up. Has anyone else found their council is lacking in this department?

Leicestershire is offering cashback of £30 on your purchase of real nappies.

No way I'm doing it though, my dd2 is 7 and in nappies forever sorry!!

I am in Wiltshire and we have a scheme - maybe get in touch with Go Real and see if they have already approached your council.

There's a list of nappy incentives here. Just saw it on another site, and it's a good list!

Thanks for feedback. Did anyone try contacting their MP? If so did it help?
