Structure of the NHS....

Just a quickie... done 2000 words on this and very bored but one question is'who is the boss of the dept of health?' is it the secretary of state for health or is it the PM????? any one know? thanks

i would say the sec state for health, but obviously he/she answers to the PM

Might sound too obvious but have you gone on the NHS England website? There is a hugh section on the structure of the NHS - sorry if suggesting you need to suck eggs

yup done the NHS and DOH web sites but no direct answer. just seems like an odd question! Who is the overall boss of the Doh. after being asked to name and list portfolio of the sec. of state for health! still unsure! but thanks for the help.
