contraception advice!

Hi,
The doctor has suggested a 3 monthly injection for contraception, has anyone had this? Any side effects am desperately trying to avoid weight gain as have a tendency to put on weight quick quickly!

Do a search on here in the health section. There are A LOT of people who put on lots of weight with this mode of contraception. It's a very common side effect.
