I am about to embark on my second year of study (English).

I have still not recieved any help from LEA even though completing the CCG1 form I was given by student support, my finances are fucked.

About to go back to uni in a month - what do I do to get it in place so I get help from the off set in this year?

Hi, I claim childcare expenses with the CCg1 and 2 forms. Not been easy as we have 10 week terms which don't seem to fit with the schedule. But so far, after talking on the phone etc. the 90% I am entitled to has been paid, in advance with each payment of grant. You need a CCG1 form asap. Take to your provider and get them to fill in predicted cost. Then you should get the first payment with your first maintenance grant/loan, in October.
