can't get my 2yr old to wear his new glasses!

My 2yr old got his first glasses today. The hospital said it was really important that he wears them all the time.

He loved them for first 30mins but is now refusing to wear them for a second.

how on earth do I get him to wear them?

I don't want to turn it into a battle of wills (he'll win!)

Any tips?

I started wearing glasses at age 3. I recall bribes, pleading, mild threats of doom....

My mother reckons getting a spare pair for teddy, and plenty of bribes, worked.

I got so into the 'got to wear them all the time' thing that they used to have to take them off my face after I'd gone to sleep!
