Have to say I find the ittis last pretty well, better than the bamboo easyfits anyway. Its just a shame their sizes come up so small. But bamboo is always slower drying than the manmade fabrics so you have to bear that in mind if you don't have a tumble dryer (like me)

nappyzoneisback · 25/08/2009 11:10

i would also bare in mind who will be putting your nappies on - my dh always reached for the bumgenius and other velcro fastening nappies as did nursery - i would send popper nappies to nursery in their loveliness but they would always come back if there were enough bg or other to use.

Luckily i do have a tumble drier, i was going to ask obviously i havent seen one in the flesh but does the material stay nice and soft after so many washes...?

How long do you think a medium would last then yorky?

NZIB if you have any left send one my way lol!

Ohhh i think i have made my desision, and it wasnt even one i was thinking about

Has anyone used the popngro...how are they for absorbing?

Nappyzone- the bags are ideal for a little bit of shopping, both dd's 2 & 3 carried one each around morrisons yesterday

Yorky · 25/08/2009 11:37

kmummy - we're forces too, where are you based?
I like the pop'n'gros, really soft and lovely, didn't have them on newborns as they are newer than my DC! but my friend's daughter wears them as she thinks they are lovely. They are just starting to use the boosters now and baby is 10wks old. They fit DS (2.5) much better than pop ins.
DD is 9mo and I am retiring her medium ittis so have to get a few more larges because there is SUCH a nappy shortage in this house
NZIB has a good point if you are thinking of nurseries or childminders, I keep the pockets AIOs for them, 2 parters aren't complicated but you'd never think it by the looks I get!

ChocOrange05 · 25/08/2009 13:28

kmummy My DS is 9.5mo and about 20lb (on 25th centile if that helps) and the medium Itti's are still fitting him well - he has quite a skinny waist so we still have one popper on each side to extend to when he gets a bit bigger IYSWIM. Itti's are really low waisted too which is great for putting trousers above them (some of the others make it difficult to do trouser buttons up) but we've never had any leaks from the top. Be careful when you put them on round the leg though as mine used to leak there until I started pulling them round the legs and up from the top once on. DS has v skinny legs too though.

You are going to love the Itti's - sometimes when I feed DS in the morning (BF lying down in bed) I just leave him in an Itti and stroke his bum!!

kmummy · 25/08/2009 17:45

NZIB thats good to know, i will email you once i place the order..it will probably be thursday, whats your delivery time like?

Yorkey were based in Devon, how about you?

Ahhh chocorange that sounds lovely, i have to make to with someone rubbing their hand in my face, although he has started to stroke me now bless him...i do love the morning feed so will try that out when we get them

Am i better getting small then if your 9month olds are in medium...or will it not be worth it, hes quite long and in size 4 nappies now....?

ChocOrange05 · 25/08/2009 18:04

We started using them at about 4 months old and got the mediums, the smalls won't last long at all.

nappyzoneisback · 25/08/2009 19:02

if you place thurs i will dispatch fri or later thurs depending on the time, if you identify as a mumsnetter they go first class, if not 2nd class.

ChocOrange05 · 25/08/2009 19:09

kmummy DS once slapped me on the face so hard it made me cry (must have been BF hormones)!! I like to think he didn't mean it !!

kmummy · 25/08/2009 19:16
