How do I give saline drops for DDs stuffy nose?

I have some saline drops for DDs stuffy nose, but how do I administer them?

Just have her lie flat and drop in? Won't this just trickle into the back of her throat and taste yuck?

Apologies in advance for the very silly question, I'm sure there is an obvious answer..

lay her back flat if possible or at least on a slant

i don't know if they taste yuck - don't know how salty they are but it would only be for a second ...

they can make them sneeze IME as well, so have a tissue handy!

You've got it! Try to tip her head back a bit so it trickles down, not back out again.

It's not been received well by either of my ds's but it does do the trick - cruel to be kind I'm afraid!

No idea, I usually get DD in the eye as she sees me approaching with it and struggles.

put baby on changing mat - hold head gently - squirt drops up nose - watch baby turn puce, scream, snort and hopefully sneeze
