at what age do you think i should be able to limit dummy to bedtime?

i dont like my dd walking around with her dummy in, but she's persistant at keeping it. what age could you start to limit your childs dummy?

This is only what I did, and everybody is different, but I didn't let my DD have her dummy anywhere but bedtime. She then just associated it with bed, which made it easier for her to give it up on her third birthday, which she did really easily

Perhaps you could trade off the dummy with a favorite teddy or something? We just started gently and nicely teasing DD about dummy saying stuff like 'ewww you don't want that in your mouth' which just put it in her mind that she perhaps didn't need it.
