I snap when exhausted

|Poor dd is only 1 but last night she was up til two with teething. i am now snappy and irritable with her. my patience goes to pot even though i know its not her fault. Im a shit mum but im so bloody exhausted,
How can i keep my cool.
She's always more spiky when teething too.
1 handed typing btw.

you are not a shit mum just a knackered mum its only human to be cranky when you don't get a good nights sleep , is there any way you could have a nap with dd today ? try to catch up on sleep .

It's so much harder when you're doing it alone, do you have much help during the day?

I find a break is the best thing to re-charge one's patience levels.

Other than that, pretend someone's watching you. If you feel yourself getting snappy, take a deep breath and count to 10.

Remember, it's OK to feel snappy and irritable sometimes, you're human.

Do you keep a supply of Calpol/Calpofren/teething powders and gels to hand to help alleviate her pain?
