Why not ask the vicar where people tend to go? Hopefully s/he will have some suggestions

we just met up with friends and family at the village pub after. the pub put on a small buffet and we had cake. it was very informal (cheaply done) and went really well.

but then, small village, small pub, not sure if you could do this where you are.

good luck

Was going to suggest church hall they are often free for things like this or just a donation.

Ours charged - I think it was £75 for 3 hours. Good value though as we had access to the kitchens, and had all the furniture we needed.
