Does it matter what potty to get?

Thinking about getting a potty to have in the house for my 18month old, just to say what it is and get used to it. Does it matter what type? There are so many!

Don't think so but we got the ones that look like a little chair just to avoid DS falling over the side

I got one that you can remove the bit with the wee in, I think it was babybjorn or something. It just seemed so much easier and hygienic than the complete one. lovely colours too

Yes - you can take the wee bit out of the chair types too. Very convenient & hygienic. Except DS when through a stage of taking it out (while empty & clean) and wearing it on his head
