Not sure whether this has been a topic on here before but here goes...
I have 2 sons, 2.4 and 3 months. When i was pregnant both times, I wanted girls. Once my sons arrived I was overwhelmed by fierce maternal love and couldn't give a fig what gender they were. I adore my boys...and yet, if I could have the guarantee of a girl I would possibly have a 3rd. I want to be clear, I wouldn't want a girl instead of my boys, but as well as IYSWIM.
So what is it about girls? I've read so many threads on here about gender preference and it's almost always biased toward girls. What's wrong with boys? They're brilliant aren't they? Even I don't know why I have a pang of sadness that won't have a DD although I feel so blessed with my 2 DS's. Why are girls so popular? Just wondered....
