Are there any french speaking mothers/parents in the Barnes/Richmond/Wimbeldon/Putney areas who would like to start or know of any french baby groups?

To be honest was thinking of just meeting up for coffee and a chat and seeing how that went.

I'm in Barnes but am happy to come over to Southfields. Unfortunatly 1oclock is nap time. Can do either mornings (10.30-11.30) or afternoons 2.30-4.30 (probably easiest). Could find out other groups in Putney (half way) and meet there.

Good idea ! I know there is one in Putney, not sure about the name, maybe les petits poissons. I'm a childminder, so for me it will be ideal to meet on mondays or tuesdays when I only have 2 children. Contact me on [email protected] and we'll sort something out !

My French friend lives in Barnes. She is due to give birth any day now and also has a DS but will let her know about this thread.

Have you tried Cadet Rousselle in SW12 (Balham Triangle every Friday morning) www.cadetrousselle.co.uk

Hello,

I would be very interested in joining you. I'm based in Twickenham (so Putney would be ok for me) and my 1-year old is half French but doesn't get to hear/speak much French due to a very hard-working papa.
