Possibly splitting with dp and our dc2 is due in January. Dd will be 18mo.

Im guessing its hardest in the first few weeks when there is no routine and not much sleep.

Has anyone done it? Any tips?

Not me but my friend did.

Yes, difficult first few weeks while routine is established.

Accept help when offered. Ask for help if you need it.

Good luck!

My Dh worked away when the eldest 2 were 22months and newborn, got home after they were in bed and left before they woke up.
I didn't accept lots of help from friends and relatives but I should have and I think that is the key and if you can afford £30 a week for a day in nursery that would be brilliant.
