Hi
I know abour Storch wraps and Mei -tais
Have had Gypsyamas, but didn't like the gauze colours.
I am looking for another gauze wrap for these summer months to carry a year old baby mostly on the front?
I am considering the Calin Blue. Do you recommend it?
Any ideas?
Thanks

I haven't used the Calin Bleu, but when I looked into summer babywearing it did seem to be the gauze wrap most widely recommended (I ended up going with a Solarweave Connecta instead of a wrap).

I have a gauze calin bleu and love it. also have one in linen which is good but not as cool. i am a huge fan of pouches and have a couple of cotton ones which are good. dp has a solarveil kangaroo korner which he swears by.

any sling in the heat is a bit sticky but i think the gauze calin bleu is probably the best bet

Never tried gauze, but CB are meant to be good.
You can also get woven wraps such as Didys with linen-cotton blends rather than 100% cotton, which are meant to be cooler and yet more supportive (am looking out for one now!).
For now though I'm tying my regular wrap in ways that only cover DS with one layer of fabric (kangaroo, ruck without reinforcement FWCC without spread crosses) which helps a bit.

Hello,

I used to prefer using baby wraps until I discovered Ergobaby baby carrier.
I definitely would suggest it.
You can use it starting from 6Kg (when your kid's back is less fragile) till 18Kg and you can carry your baby on the front or on your back or on one side.
Your kid will be tightened to you with his knees up and his back down in the most comfortable position for him/her.
I blogged about it and posted photos at my personal blog:
