What do you mean?

You think that because you have shouted at him he will never be calm?

Meglet · 03/07/2009 17:19

stop panicking.

He is two! They're all a handful at that age . Was he in the trolley or walking in the shop, I'd rather stick mine in the trolley even if they don't like it, than having them causing chaos and driving me mad.

was in trolley

as in if shout at him he is learning to shout too and that will ruin my chances even more of trying to discipline him into a calm well behaved boy

I know what you mean. I have learnt to bite my toungue a lot, turn round and roll my eyes and swear under my breath, count to 10.... then go back to ds and deal with whatever he is doing and have calm words with him.

Can you do your shopping on line? 2 yr olds love throwing things on the floor, and this weather makes everyone a bit tetchy, so if you worry about shouting, try and avoid the situation.

Try not to worry - I am sure I shouted at mine alot from time to time, and they are fine.
