Not sure if the title makes sense!

It took me a good few months to bond with DS2 (post-natal depression/wanting a girl/worse labour/v knackered all contributing)

now 2 years on I absolutely adore him, to the point that I am so soft on him that people tell me off (my mum!) for being too easy on him in comparison to DS1 (who I fell for in about 3 minutes).

Anyone else had a similar situation or is it just second child getting away with it all?

2nd child getting away with it all I reckon. Dh and I try not to with our DSs but you don't really know what to expect from them when they are the first where as by the 2nd you have givenup more realistic expectations.
