She's 11 & a bit delicate atm

DH will be OK - It was kind of scheduled just not this week/today

She is not going to take it well

Plus he is 2 hrs away

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Does she know he was scheduled to go into hospital or will it come as a shock? Hope you are all OK.

Katymac · 29/06/2009 18:36

No we weren't going to tell her until the school holidays (she is going away for 3 different holidays & we thought it would et 'lost' in that)

It will be a shock

Is it a routine Op? or something more serious?

Katymac · 29/06/2009 22:11

He has a chronic lung condition

He was in Papworth for 2 weeks IV last summer

He has frequent chest infections & he had one (about 10-12 days ago) when I rang today to say he was getting worse they called him in

He is probably going to be treated for Mycobacterium that they found back in February
