What would you do if you'd been told this?

OK, so I have been told that a teenage boy has moved back to the area, specifically a few doors from me, and that he is a "kiddy fiddler" - not my words but the words of the person who told me.

The way I see it, this could be a few things:-

  1. Pure gossip
  2. A teenage boy who has had sex with a teenage girl only a couple of years younger than him and got in trouble for it
  3. Something for me to be concerned about

Should I try and find out more? If so, how do I get fact and not gossip?

What would YOU do?

I would just ignore it. Were you going to leave your child supervised by this boy anyway? Probably not, so regardless of the truth it isnt going to alter what you do anyway.

True. That's pretty much what I thought anyway but just wanted to hear it from someone else!!

I would ignore too. Ok, I wouldn't let him babysit, if he offered. But otherwise, I wouldn't fuss. And I absolutely wouldn't pass on the rumour.
