Any advice? Getting v worried now, although he seems like a happy chap! Yesterday I gave him about 10ml orange juice on the advice of an ex-midwife friend, but still nothing this morning.

Is there anything else I can try?

By the way he's breastfed, with one bottle before bed of 7oz Aptimil.

At about that age they start to fully digest the milk so their poos get much less frequent. Ten days does seem a bit long but not unusual from what I've read on here. He'll probably do a huge massive one any time now. Probably when you're out somewhere nice with only one babywipe.

Try a bit more diluted orange juice, and maybe do a bit of gentle baby massage around his tummy to get things going?

Thanks - I've given him a bit of water this morning but he wouldn't have much, and I've been massaging everyday for the past week!

I've been thinking the same - I'm going on the tube tomorrow with him in a baby carrier so you know he's going to wait till then don't you....

Try dissolving a little dark brown sugar in boiled water that should work,it is old fashioned I know but 10 days is a bit long I think

Pranma, I could kiss you, you were the second person to suggest this so I tried it and voila, 45 mins later he exploded

Thanks a million, I feel much better (and he feels much lighter)
