which nappy cream is ok to use with my washables? Have just put DS back into them after a stint in disposables(due to morning sickness!) & he looks very sore. They are already fleece lined & I use a disposable liner.

Do not use any cream next to fleece liners or fleece-lined nappies as it will clog up the fleece and make a barrier. So you are doing the right thing by using a paper liner.

Metanium to sort out the soreness (nothing beats it) and Weleda bum cream if you feel he needs cream at each change.

I have always used Bepanthen and fleece lines and never had any problems, I'm sure the Nappy Lady advises it? I thought you just shouldn't use no liner at it can affect the absorbancy of the nappy itself as it is greasy and will coat the fibres.

Fleece is much nicer than paper against the skin if they are sore.

I use creams as and when needed with my fleece liners and haven't had any trouble so far, have used lots but like metanium and sudocreme best. HTH
