We decided this afternoon as it was a nice day to take dd nappy off and give potty training a go. She's been happy with her knickers on and nothing else. I have been asking her if she needs a wee or poo but each time she just says no. I have been sitting her down on the potty every half an hour to see if she goes but after a couple of minutes she just gets up again. After a few more attempts I sat her down and she did a little wee. She got a sticker and was very happy but 10minutes later did big wee on the floor! I'm wondering if she is aware of when she needs to wee and whether she is ready for potty training at all. Am I supposed to be putting her on the potty or should she want to go?
