Don't know if anyone can answer this? Just asking as ds 5yo, seems to be going rather frequently. Have taken him to the gp, who checked for diabetes which was neg. But from 3.30pm he is going about 8 times. Think he isn't emptying his bladder just relieving the pressure and then has to go about 20-30 mins later. Anyone else had experience of this. Are due to go away next week and he drove us mad last time we went away as we had to keep finding the toilet every hald hour.

is he drinking enough water, I know it sounds mad, but water does cleanse the bladder and doesn't make you go to the loo more Check what you are giving him to drink all fruit juices make them go to the loo, also as does bottled water, If you dont like tap water as such keep some boiled in the fridge. It also might be worth a bribe to see how long he can wait, but if there is the odd accident no telling off.. If he is standing up it might just be fun to see where and how far around the loo he can jet, as does my 5 yr old grandson.!!!! also bet not to comment or is it for attention.
