..........he has an itchy toe

I am in bed, (very tired, altho still able to MN), boys were put to bed at 8.30, but giggled for a good while.

anyway.........

DS1 has just come into me complaining that he is still not able to get to sleep, all down to his toe.

cos it itches

and therefore needs itching

meaning he cannot possibly close his eyes, as he has to itch it.

lamest excuse ever..........even behind the 'thirsty', 'not sleepy', 'I'm scared' excause they try regularly.

ROFL - DD came out with 'my eyelids are too shiney' as an answer to why she appeared in our room at 4am the other morning. Was too befuddled to deal with it at the time, so said 'that's nice dear, I think your dolly is cold, get back into bed with her, there's a love'. (and she did ).

ds the other day "My hair isn't spiky anymore" (had gone to barbers who had spiked his hair up with gel)

You have to give em points for trying!

Oh yes, DD is convinced that every time she does a poo in her nappy, her ten month old DS has put it there not her because 'he's a stinky baby and I'm a good girl'

lol

me thinks morning paper ought to take notice of these for a new book on older kiddies
