7.30pm and reads for half an hour when I am in charge.
8pm when DH is in charge

4andnotout · 18/05/2009 17:30

All 4 dds go to bed at 7.30 on weekdays and a little later at weekends if they behave

MaryBS · 18/05/2009 17:30

7-7:30pm, even at w/e's because he likes his routine, and tends to get up early no matter what time he went to bed!

EvenBetaDad · 18/05/2009 17:38

Between 7.30 - 8.00 p.m on nights before school days. About 8.30 on nights before non school days.

muggglewump · 18/05/2009 17:45

9 on school days is the default time, but that can be earlier or later depending if she's tired or not.
Whenever she likes at weekends or in the holidays.

She's a night owl like me and also doesn't need to be up untill 8am during the week so still gets enough sleep for her.

ChippyMinton · 18/05/2009 17:53

I like him in bed by 7.30, it's usually nearer 8.00pm and then he reads until about 9.00pm. And gets up at 7 - 7.30am.

retiredgoth2 · 18/05/2009 17:57

...twin urchins were 8 yesterday.

They go to bed at 7, every night.

Well. They go to their room. Sleep may take some time to follow....

MrsHD · 20/05/2009 12:55

My 7 year old DD is in bed around 8pm and light goes out about 8.30. Occasionally it slides later but that doesn't usually work out too well. She doesn't necessarily appear tired, but she copes less well with life.

In the holidays and at weekends I don't mind it going half an hour later, but too much later and things tend to get unmanageable.

newgirl · 20/05/2009 12:58

7-7.30 she may lie there reading for ten minutes or so

at the end of a term or half term she really needs it - any later and she has bags in the morning

mankyscotslass · 20/05/2009 13:00

DS is 7, he goes up between 7.45/8.00pm, then is allowed to read in bed til 8.30 at the latest.

He wakes or rather is woken by my youngest Ds about 6ish.

seeker · 20/05/2009 13:00

Theoretically or in prectice?

LouLovesAeroplaneJelly · 20/05/2009 13:04

Between 7 - 7:30pm on school nights (if its me doing bed time) and later on weekends.

singersgirl · 20/05/2009 13:11

DS2 is supposed to be in bed by 7.30, lights out by 8, but it is often later - last night after he came back from a friend's house it ended up being nearer 8.45. That's too late for him though, and he's much better if he's asleep by 8.00.

Twims · 20/05/2009 13:14

in bed and lights out at 7 pm during the week and in bed light out at 7.30 on a friday/saturday
