Last weekend I noticed DS was scratching his head a lot so I checked his head and just as I thought, he had headlice.

So I've spent the week with the conditioner and comb and he is now nit free.

I have also done my hair each day but found no trace of the little buggers.

So now i've got it into my head that i clearly don't spend enough time in close contact with DS.

I'm insane aren't I? Or do you think that if I did spend enough time with him I would have caught them?

I know i'm pathetic

Some people get them and some don't. Neither of my DDs have had them even tho there have been outbreaks in their classes at school a few times.

and yes, you obviously don't spend enough time cuddling your DS

You are being very sweet and just a little bit silly.

The DC have had lice 3x in the past year, I have had lice 3x in the past year. DH - not once.

And we are a family who likes to cuddle.

Just a thought - do you wear a lot of hair product? sometiomes lice cant stick to hair that has spray or gel or whatever on so its quite possible thats why.

Maybe you have eggs and the nits will hatch on sunday??

your a dafty and just by posting this its clear you love you ds xx

thank you for not laughing me out of the thread.

I do spend lots of time cuddling and playing with DS, often have to chase him for the cuddles though

NICK- me, wear hair products?? haha if you saw the state of my hair it's pretty clear I do very little to it
