Moving 19mths into bed - anything I need to know?

He's too big for his cot - Would love him to stay in there for a while longer but his size has decided he needs to be moved. Don't know what to expect etc. Any advice.

Sometimes they fall out... so make sure there's nothing hard or sharp lying just under it for him to fall on, and consider putting something like a spare quilt there for the first few nights. That's about it really! My DS just settled to it with absolutely no issues, so I don't have much advice
