Why are they so expensive when we have to use them? i find that the tommee tippee ones are the best but at £5 a box it is costly. The goverment advises feeding so they should make it a bit cheaper surley??

Yuck to tommee tippee's!!! use washables, much nicer, much cheaper and much better for the environment. Why have "like cotton" when you can have real cotton?

Or you could use lilypadz. You are right that you are using the most expensive breast pads, but that is your choice amongst the alternatives which might actually suit you better.

Also, sorry but why should government subsidise something which is going into landfill when there is an alternative?

Lastly you are already saving over £450.00 per year by not feeding formula let alone whatever the additional costs of bottles / sterilising etc would be. Be happy, you are obviously doing a fab job of feeding your LO! Now either use the £450.00 to buy tommee tippee pads for a while or buy one of the alternatives and have a holiday too !
