My DD7,
Slightly a bit geeky (probably down to me being an older non maternal mum), very kind and considerate...but she still wants her own way and wants to do things her way even at the cost of friendship...she's a bit of a tomboy and I suppose she stands out a little.
I've explained as best I can that sometimes she needs to go with the flow...but I feel at a loss for the best way of explaining this.....we can go to a play park with a friend but she won;t do what she doesn;t want to...and her friend will end up linking up with other children because of this...in some ways it's nice to see that she doesn;t bow to peer pressure and her Head Teacher said that she see's DD has making a super Head Girl....but I can see her being a loner....
Can anyone offer some words of wisdom?
