You know you might have gone a bit funny about nappies when...

...you put your DS in one of your favourites, and he poos after 10 minutes.

And you're actually a bit put out.

I suspect I have rather lost sight of the original point of cloth nappies in my general addiction to the things.

It used to be shoes. What has happened to me?

I texted a friend to tell her I had just bought 3 'really nice' nappies. Then afterwards I remembered there is nothing nice about wee soaked terry fabric, no matter what shape or colour it is.

Nappyzoneisabeetrootrunner · 07/05/2009 11:07

you know your ds is so ready to pt but you want to delay it so he has one left summer frolicking about in the garden in his bright nappies

clothaddict · 09/05/2009 18:20

I am the same as OP, I get annoyed if he poos in one of his "nice" nappies after 10 mins! Sometimes I save up for when I think no more poo's. I've lost the plot.

Same here - I try to time my 'favourite' nappies being worn so that he won't poop in one!

I put DD in a skirt/dress without tights at the slightest hint of sunshine so I can show off her 'pants' and then spend ages having to tuck her under the blanket cos it is actually still too cold...

duvetheaven · 14/05/2009 18:21

..you hope that your husband is not on a day off so that he doesn't see yet another parcel of fluffy post arriving .

JennyPenny22 · 15/05/2009 00:49

...You have to clear out clothes, toys etc to make space for the boxes of various nappies! And also hide parsels and bank statements from hubby.

TheNatty · 15/05/2009 00:53

when you find yourself searching preloved nappy sites when you actually dont need anything.. before you know it its 1am and uve spent 20 quid!!

treedelivery · 15/05/2009 01:06

Agree to all of these but also..

...find yourself suspecting dc saves up poo to do in fav nappy on purpose.

At 4 months old. Because she knows all about nappies, the time of day, what she has on her bum, and that no one should ever poo in an itti.

Am clearly insane and probably showing paranoid tendancies
