I just had a little girl last tuesday (our first baby !) and DH asked for paternity leave for this week coming. One of his co-worker is taking professional exams in a few weeks time and she is behind schedule on her tasks...she actually asked him to give up his paternity leave to undertake the tasks she had not completed in time and so that she could go on annual leave to prepare her exam ! unbelievable isn't it ? ...DH was furious ! She insisted and begged for him to stay at work to do her work...People are just so stupid sometimes...

I go to uni with a girl like that. She thinks parents get special treatment because we have children.

She told me that I should go bak to work and pay my tuition fees not get government handouts because I was a single parent.

I told her if it wasnt for people like me (single parents) shed be out of a job and she'd get her fees paid! She works for the CSA. She soon shut up!!

I bet she simply doesn't have children.
