nappy changing wrestling matches

DD has just started crawling and realising that she is seperate from me. She loves to turn onto her front when I am trying to change her nappy and throws a wobbly if I try to turn her back over onto her back. Likewise when it comes to dressing her. It's a wrestling match and I can imagine it will only get worse. She loves the struggle and finds it funny, often crawling away as I try to deal with her. I have tried tickling her which sometimes works but how else can I make this easier?

Hold em down and sing 'Twinkle twinkle little star'. Works for me!

HF: I sing 'itsy bitsy spider goes up the water spout' etc. It works sometimes but most times it doesn't. He just momentarily smiles / laughs at me & then goes back to his twisting, back arching, turning, standing up & giggling on changing mat etc.

My DS is like this too.

WE have tried interesting toys, telling him 'NO', singing, holding him down. He just starts to go purple and makes an 'interesting' noise (bit like a grunt and a growl). I am hoping he will grow out of it. (Currently 14 months and getting stronger and taller by the day!)

Sorry poshsinglemum no advice to offer but my empathy and sympathy!!!!
