Help, 8 month old suddenly leaking out of everything!

My 8mo DS has suddenly developed the power to wee through anything and we are having leaks every night. This has happened before so I guess he has grown/changed shape somewhat, but I'm having trouble finding an alternative that works. We were using Nature Babykind disposables overnight and he was reliably dry in them till about a week ago; I bought some Pampers once the NBs started leaking as last time they kept him dry overnight, but no joy. Last night I put him in my tried and tested never-leaks combination of Baby Beehinds nappy with Stacinator fleece over the top...it leaked! I am gutted.

So not sure what to do now. Do I tough it out and keep changing him at night/washing his grobags every day, or buy lots of different brands of disposable in the hope that one will work? Does anyone have any useful advice (or just commiserations)?

TIA

Have you tried lidls own brand? they are cheap and so crappiness is assumed but actually they hold more wee than pampers.

good luck.

Thanks, there's a Lidl just up the road so I might give that a try

Wee Notions Night Notions - they are quite expensive but I think it is worth it as it is much easier than changing the bedding daily. I have also ordered an Upsy Daisy Night Nappy to try while they have 15% off during real nappy week - as they are supposed to be excellent on very heavy wetters too.

I liked baby beehinds but sold them on as I find WNNNs are much more absorbent.

See, the problem is (I think) that he has changed shape, rather than any other issue...the leaks are always in the same place and he's even leaked during the day from the same leg hole, despite not being in the nappy for that long. He's also mostly feeding less in the night, yet still wetting through. It's very annoying.

oh no! I know it isn't as breathable as your stacinator fleece but could you try an airflow (or any pul wrap) that is side snap so that you can get a really good fit around the leg hole? iyswim - as you can alter each leg and waist fitting differently with those.

I always prefer side snap nappies for that reason too, Blake has a little waist but huge thighs. Like his mum - but now i've had 2 DCs I certainly couldn't even claim to have a small waist anymore!
