Question About My Daughter

my daughter is 4 years old, i am very worried about her as she has started wetting and soiling her self over the last few months but she doesnt wet the bed, it is only through out the day time she does it. she goes to the hospital for a few tests every so often as she has duplex kidney reflux and just recently started getting the 3 tests again, and it was when this started that she started doing it.

could it be fear that is making her do this or some other reason.

thanks for any help you can give me

Mandy

Hi Jill.
1st of all she could be scared of the tests and this therefore could be causing the wetting...but if shes not wetting the bed or showing signs of attention seeking/sadness/over hyperactivity then Id suggest you take her to speak to the doctor eho does the tests.
Weeting and soiling to could be incontinence. Something that is found mainly in females after having a duplex kidney diagnosed. Its called ectopic ureter. But this should be taken up with the doctor as they may have to do scans and confirm. Take this as advice only. If you want more info I can give you some and then you can see if your dd matched criteria etc...
