It depends.

The older boy (7)knows they are called his penis and his testicles,we have talked about it, but insists on calling them his nuggets or his dusters (thanks school) .

We tend to just use willy and spuds more often than not though.

PM73 · 02/05/2009 08:04

LOL at dusters!!

Thats funny {grin}

My son is only 2yrs8mths so we will tell him the proper names when he is a bit older,i was just looking for other names for this age bracket.

I am the same as you - stucki with 'balls' which seems vaguely obscene and not particularly attractive.

His willy has always been known as a 'wuwee' - I think that was the way he said it. Nobody thought to correct as he is the first boy for a couple of generations and we thought he knew best!

I know, the things he says now from school make me laugh.

My youngest boy is 3 1/2 and he just calls everything his willy.

I found it easier for names for boy bits rather than girls...my friends daughter calls her fanjo her fairy. .

It sounds so......yuck.

We settled on her "girl bits", although she knows the proper name (she is 5), she never uses vagina.

purepurple · 02/05/2009 08:18

my ds started calling them 'knackers' when he started school, can't remember what we called them when he was younger

BannedInternationalFlight · 02/05/2009 08:20

Oh God I had a friend who as a child called it her 'funnel'

PM73 · 02/05/2009 08:31

We call my DS (3) bits his willy, all of it including his testicles. When I was a girl afraid my fanjo was 'mary'!

garlicoliveoil · 02/05/2009 19:06

ha so funny, i have 2ds and we call their bits willy or meat and vegtables, we call girls bits tuppence, they are 8 and 3.8

ilovespinach · 02/05/2009 20:26

for our 2ds (3 and 15months)we call it their tinkle - not sure where we got that from

nikos · 02/05/2009 22:31

One of mine, when very young called it his tail and that has kind of stuck. So we all as a family (three children) call boys bits their tail.

footballsgalore · 02/05/2009 22:34

Commonly known as 'Twig and berries' here!!!
Does the job but DS1 (7) has also started calling them his nuts...Again, thanks school!

Overmydeadbody · 02/05/2009 22:35

widge?! what's wrong with calling it what it is?

Just use the proper words for his penis and testicles, or everyday names like willy and balls.

With DS I've always just used both penis/testicles and willy/balls, and he mostly refers to them himself as his willy and balls.

PaulaYatesBiggestFan · 02/05/2009 22:35

bob tail and nuttles

or willy and balls
