Hi - I would go for a cheap mattress protector and use those pampers care mats on top - then if there is an accident, you can whip the care mat off the bed and the protector is still there - saves changing the whole bed at 3 am !

Agree with wrongside - cheap mattress protector under sheet, care mat on top. Re-use care mat till it gets wet or you discover DS is properly dry, at which point I will be

Nope, sheet on protector, mat on sheet should do it. Then if you have to sort him out in the night, you can just replace the mat, and if necc take the sheet off to and put the mat on the protector till morning. If that all makes sense?

i beg to disagree - found the care mat gets all rumpled if on top - I put on top of protector - underneath sheet - slightly more hassle to change but worked ok for us !

crazytown · 26/04/2009 22:16

yes - my ds wouldnt sleep on the mat, so I think I will put this on top of protecter under the sheet
