The bedroom routine 'love you' has been since being about to speak.
The spontaneous (sp?) running up to you in the middle of something else to express love was about 2 and a half.
dd2 I think will be later, just because her speech is not as good. At 18 months she does give the most amazing hugs though, and 'cugger' (cuddle) is one of her few words.

Oh, ds said it from 16 months, he says 'wuv woo' and it is lovely, makes my heart melt just to think about it .. He is 20 months now, and he is wise ot the fact it turns dh to mush and now its a constant stream of 'wuv woo's at bedtime once we lay him down - takes ages to get out for all the 'wuv woo' and kisses. oh love him!
