The Nappy Lady mentions something called a Little Squirt on this page. I wish I'd had one of these - I used to hold the nappy under the flush. Thank goodness my nappying days are over!

I knew I hadn't imagined it!

Will look into it.

Rinse poo down the sink?

Just sluice them in the toilet by holding the fleece liner in the bowl and flush - that is if the poo won't just flick off the liner. Anything that doesn't come off with that approach goes straight into the nappy bucket for the washing machine

Pre-weaning I never did anything with the pooey nappies other than pop them in the bucket and then straight into the washing machine.

I know, I know. It's gross when I think about it and DH is main culprit, but up to now its only been bf poo, so not so offensive.
