First mobile phone for 11 year old DS

Hi,
I wasn't sure where to post this, so apologies if I'm in the wrong place. My son will be 12 soon, and I want to get him a mobile. I just want a bog standard phone, with as few "features" as possible. Can anyone recommend a suitable package, please?

nokia 5000 is very good, my mum has one and she finds it does all the standard stuff well, features such as music player/radio etc. but they are just extras.
