I almost agree with you bloss, not quite though .

How old are yours? My dc are 8 and 5 and really quite lovely to be around atm.

There is hope for all youze with toddlers and babies, honest there is!

I agree Bloss although funnily enough I am looking forward to going back to school. just not the endless routine of it all.

Mine are 8 and 5. Cant wait for them to go back.

They are driving me insane.

Mine are 3 and 5 - this has been the first holiday that I have actually enjoyed. I am looking forward with mixed feelings to Monday (I go back to work then too). I'm still a long way off from feeling like you though Bloss but it's lovely to see that it does get better!

Mine are 4 and 2 and neither are at full time school and I already hate the holidays! DD is at nursery every afternoon in termtime which seems to set a schedule to each day. Plus everywhere is so busy in the hols it is a nightmare to go anywhere. Am dreading the summer hols but since so many other mums I know are too I am going to have two days each week where everyone I know with kids is welcome to come and take advantage of our large house and garden (not ours really we rent off my parents who live on the coast now). Then we can all laze around while the kids entertain each other!

Mine are 9 and 6 and it is lovely to have them home. It is lovely just to potter about and have lazy days.
I really dislike school - the homework, the getting up early, the stress of the misplaced PE kit, the fallings-out and makings-up with friends, the endless letters with money for this, sponsorship for that, fancy dress at short notice, the constant pestering to have X and Y for tea... School is soooo stressful!
In the holidays I feel I can breathe, we can all unwind, it is bliss
