Help! Any advice gratefully accepted!!

My DS2 is driving me mad with his toilet training. He is 3 years 4 months and I have been trying for the last couple of months. He hates putting on pants and refuses point blank to use the potty or toilet.....so now he just holds everything in until he gets his pull up on (for bedtime or for nursery. I'm not brave enough to send him in pants!). He has an older sister and brother who both toilet trained easily and I thought that seeing them would encourage him...but no he's a stubborn little thing! I've tried bribery but he just politely says "No thanks"!!! Help!!!

ds1 toilet trained easily but like your son hated wearing pants!
so we basically did about a week at home with him just going naked from waist down until he was using the toilet by himself completely.
then we worked at getting clothes back on him

I would talk to him about it, maybe have him show a teddy how to use the toilet, to get him talking about whatever his fear is.
