I need some chickpox advice

Right yesterday dd and ds both had a rash. Dd was more rash like not proper spots on her tummy, ds was on his back was like proper spots. Went to the walk in drs and my dr was full up (too full up to see a 1yr and a 3yr old hmmmm) who said more than likely it was chicken pox.

So woke up this morning expecting to see more rashs/spots etc and if anything they have faded on ds and nearly completly dissapeared on dd.

Does this sound like chicken pox??? Obviously we will stay in for a few days just incase but if the rash/spots have dissapeared do I go back for another opinion or just put it down to heat rash or reaction to new shampoo type stuff?

Nothing like my experience of chicken pox (have had plenty over the past month). Ds1 had only a very few spots, ds2 was covered but in both cases at least some of the spots formed blisters then crusted over and took at least a week to disappear.
