Is there much difference between bumGenius versions 2 and 3?

I'd really like to get some BGs but I'm not sure how much difference there is between v2 and v3. I know v3 includes newborn and regular inserts and also an extra covering on the insert, but how crucial is this to keeping clothes dry? Thanks.

i got the v2's and have just bought a few boosters cause i had some leaks the other week so think the inserts weren't holding enough liquid, otherwise can't see much difference. didn't have any problems with the one size insert when he was a newborn but they don't seem to be enough now he's on the biggest setting. not sure about the extra covering thingy. i just had to get some more nappies cause we've got another one due in august and went with pop in's cause they come with a booster for night time and don't have to take the insert out for washing so they look like a bit less faff.

I have some of both and don't even know which are which. BUT we don't use the BG inserts because DD wees for England. Lol. But the pockets are fine and I think they are the most reliable out of my pocket stash.

They do wear quickly though.
